AI-powered cooking assistant for iOS, macOS & visionOS that turns a fridge photo into a ready-to-cook recipe in about 60 seconds.
October 13, 2025
Kitchee, a new AI-powered cooking assistant for iOS, macOS, and visionOS, brings smart recipe generation, hands-free cooking guidance, and seamless Apple ecosystem integration to home cooks worldwide. Available in 10 UI languages with support for over 70 recipe languages, Kitchee adapts to how people actually cook—from fridge photo to recipe, from handwritten notes to recipe.
"Most cooking apps start with a recipe. Kitchee starts with your reality—what's in your fridge, your dietary needs, your available time—and gets you to dinner with less effort," says Oliver Herbelin, Founder.
Kitchee is available today globally.

Kitchee identifies common fridge items reliably in good light. You can edit detected items before generating a recipe, and Kitchee proposes sensible substitutions for gaps.
Some features require connectivity. Where possible, Kitchee uses on-device processing; we're expanding offline support over time.
You can set dietary presets (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, low-carb) and exclude specific ingredients. Recipes adapt automatically.
We do not use ad tracking. Minimal analytics help improve reliability. See our privacy policy for details.
