Delete Your Account in the App

The easiest way to delete your account and all associated data is directly through the Kitchee app:

  1. Open the Kitchee app on your device
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Navigate to Account
  4. Select Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our database.

What Gets Deleted?

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Request Data Deletion

If you're unable to access the app, you can submit a deletion request below. Please note that you must provide the email address associated with your account. If you use Sign in with Apple with a private relay email, you must submit this request from the app.

Enter the email address associated with your Kitchee account. If you use Sign in with Apple with a private relay email (e.g., random@privaterelay.appleid.com), you must delete your account from within the app.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you delete your account through the app, your data is removed immediately from our active database. Backups are purged within 30 days. For deletion requests submitted via this form, we process them within 5 business days.
No, account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. All your data, including recipes, meal plans, and preferences, will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
If you use Sign in with Apple with a private relay email address, you must delete your account from within the Kitchee app. We cannot verify ownership of private relay emails through this web form. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app.
Yes! Before deleting your account, you can export your recipes and data. In the app, go to Settings > Data > Export Data to save your information before deletion.
